G'day
For 2 years we searched for the perfect Mudgee hideaway... a special place where our family and friends would love to stay... a property where, when you arrive, you smile and feel all warm inside… and by good fortune, in 2021 we found Riverlea Lodge - and we love it!
This is a great area to visit. Mudgee has won the Top Tourism Town in Australia Award; three times! So whether you're in search of a relaxing getaway or an active excursion, we believe the Mudgee region is bound to provide you with a unique experience.
We’re just about 3 hours drive north-west from Sydney. We hope to see you one day soon!

Settled into rambling bush-lands the lodge has wonderful views from the balcony deck. The bright and airy open plan living room is the spacious focal point and gathering space with high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and plenty of room to spread out.
There's a fireside sitting area and dining room overlooking the views, and a well fitted kitchen. The combination of textures and splashes of colour lend the space a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted feel. Directly off the living space there is an expansive deck area for entertaining and to soak up 180 degree valley views.

There are four bedrooms and the family bathroom with separate WC, and an additional shower room, WC and laundry on the lower level. Suitable for 6 people in 2 x Queen-size beds and 2 x small doubles. There are 2 showers and a full bath, and 2 toilets.

Tucked away, just above the house, is a charming pond home to Koi and Goldfish to help keep you mellow. You're bound to see kangaroos, native birds, wild goats, and perhaps even our resident echidna, wombat, or platypus.

Head outside for a bush-walk, trail run, or relax on the banks of the Cudgegong River which flows through the 25 acres of unspoiled and gently manicured hillside. Relax and repeat.
